Maynard High School is excited to announce that construction for our new Junior High building is officially beginning! This is an exciting step forward for our district and community as we continue to improve facilities and opportunities for our students.
As construction begins, there will be a few temporary adjustments to campus parking, bus traffic, and afternoon parent pickup procedures to ensure student safety and maintain efficient traffic flow.
Morning Drop-Off
Morning parent drop-off procedures will remain the same and will not be affected by construction.
Afternoon Parent Pickup
Parents picking up their child after school will now use the Senior Parking Lot, located closest to Highway 115.
Enter campus from Highway 115.
Although the sign indicates one-way traffic, it will not be one-way between 2:45 and 3:30 p.m. to accommodate pickup traffic.
The Senior Parking Lot will be immediately to your right upon entering.
After picking up your child, please exit back toward Highway 115.
Student Parking Change
Students who currently park near the bus garage will move to the parking area behind the gym beginning Tuesday, March 17.
We appreciate everyone's patience, cooperation, and support as we begin construction on this important project. These adjustments will help ensure a safe and smooth transition while we build an exciting new facility for our students and community.
Thank you for your continued support of Maynard Schools.

Tomorrow, our students who drive to school must park at either the Baptist or the Methodist Church. The churches have given our students permission to do so. Please ensure your child parks at one of these locations, as the student parking lots are not clear. In addition, please remind them to wear warm clothing and shoes, as some areas remain snow-covered. They can walk around the snow-covered areas, but if they choose to walk in the snow, they will need appropriate footwear.
In addition, there will be Archery Practice tomorrow after school for grades 7-12. Practice will be at the elementary building.
