Tonight’s the Night for Maynard Schools Christmas Band & Choir Programs! Our Elementary and High School will present their Christmas programs this evening in the High School gym, and we can’t wait to see you there! Doors open at 5:00 PM.

K–2 Christmas Program begins at 5:30 PM.

Little performers should be seated by 5:20 PM.

Grades 3–12 Christmas Program begins at 6:30 PM.

Student performers should be seated by 6:20 PM.

Maynard Schools will have a late start tomorrow, December 2nd, due to inclement weather conditions. Those riding a bus, please anticipate the bus arriving 2 hours later than the regular pickup time. School will begin at 10 a.m. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Due to a main water line break at Marmaduke Schools, the 5th and 6th-grade games scheduled for this evening, Monday, November 17th, are cancelled. Students will be held in the elementary cafeteria until parents arrive to pick them up. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Starting tomorrow, August 14 Hwy 328 East to Reyno will resume letting traffic through. Bus drop-off and pickup times at Reyno and Biggers won't be affected much due to there still being one lane traffic directed by stoplights for a large portion of the drive.

Temporary Bus Route Change Due to Construction on Highway 328
Maynard, AR – The Maynard School District apologizes for the inconvenience caused by ongoing construction on Highway 328. As a result of this roadwork, the Biggers and Reyno bus routes will temporarily be adjusted to travel through Stokes to Engelberg.

This change will affect students who reside near the Biggers and Reyno areas and rely on district transportation. Due to the extended route, these students should be prepared to load the bus at 6:45 a.m. until further notice.

Maynard School District has an opening for a School Board Member. If you would like to be considered for this position, please visit the administration office to be added to the board agenda for the next board meeting, scheduled for August 26, 2025. After visiting the administration office, you will need to go to the county clerk's office to get a petition, where you will need to obtain signatures and return to the county clerk before the board meeting to verify those signatures. You will need to attend the meeting on August 26, 2025, and will have 5 minutes to address the board as to why they should consider you for the vacant position.

The Maynard School District is taking certified applications for a 4th Grade, Math and Science Position for the 25-26 SY. The teacher will also teach 1 period of Social Studies and 1 period of RTI. Maynard School District FFA Auction will be Friday, May 9th, 2025 @ 5pm Located at 74 Campus Drive, Maynard Arkansas There will be a Banquet & Live Auction as well as a BBQ Dinner. Cost of BBQ Dinner will be $10. Donations are welcome. Everyones invited, so bring your friends!
